Aisha Yesufu, a well-known activist, stated that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) boasts over 200 million supporters in Nigeria.

However, Yesufu stated that although the All Progressives Congress (APC) has around 30 state governors, the ruling party can outspend the ADC.

She acknowledged on Thursday while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today that the APC can exceed the ADC in spending.

She said: “The ADC is not mincing words that when it comes to money, the APC can outspend the ADC; definitely they can outspend us because they have our coffers, our national wealth, at their disposal to do whatever it is that they’re going to do with it.

“The one thing that I can tell you is they cannot outpassion us.

“They have 30 governors, but we have over 200 and something million Nigerians, minus the 30 governors and a few of the supporters that they have.”
