On Monday morning, hundreds of furious residents in Plateau State marched through the streets in defiance of the state-imposed curfew, protesting against the lethal Palm Sunday assault that resulted in multiple fatalities in Jos North Local Government Area.
A live TikTok stream obtained by ZINGTIE captured the demonstration that began at the site of the massacre in Anguwan Rukuba.
The live stream indicated that the protest started as early as 9 a.m. on Monday morning.
The demonstrators, clearly upset, were observed shouting slogans and calling for immediate government measures, emphasizing that a curfew by itself is insufficient to tackle the ongoing violence.
The livestream indicated that the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, had just reached the location of the protest.
