on Wednesday dismissed reports claiming it recently increased its gantry fuel price.

The 650,000-barrel-per-day refinery made the clarification in a statement released via its X account on Wednesday.

This follows reports alleging that the $20 billion refinery raised its petrol price by N75 to N1,350 per litre.

However, the refinery insisted that its petrol price remains unchanged.

“Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited has revealed that the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) remains the same, stating that its ex-depot price remains unchanged,” Dangote Refinery stated.

ZINGTIE reports that petrol prices have continued to fluctuate due to rising global crude oil prices, which stood at $95 and $101 per barrel on Wednesday.

Within the last two months, retail petrol prices have nearly doubled to between N1,365 and N1,375 per litre from around N900 per litre recorded in early February 2026.
