The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, John Terhemba Tsoho, has approved fresh postings for judges across different judicial divisions nationwide.

The postings followed the recent appointment of 14 new judges as well as the redeployment of three serving judges of the court.

The Chief Judge directed all affected judges to report to their new stations on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

A statement issued by the Director of Information of the court, Catherine Oby Christopher, disclosed that Justice Hassan Dikko was posted to Gusau in Zamfara State, while Justices Salim Olasupo Ibrahim and Onah Chigozie Sergius are to remain in Abuja. Justice Sulaiman Amida Hassan was also redeployed to Osogbo in Osun State.

The Chief Judge also redeployed Justice Abubakar Musa Usman to Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti State.

It would be recalled that 14 new judges were recently appointed for the high court to help manage the expected increase in cases that may arise ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Their appointment followed recommendations by the National Judicial Council after a detailed screening of their academic qualifications and professional conduct.

Following their appointment, the new judges were attached to senior judges of the court for practical experience.
