AFCON 2023: 17 Super Eagles players hit camp, hold first training today

To begin training for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, seventeen players have reported to the Super Eagles camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Wednesday night (today) is the team’s first training session.

On Tuesday night, head coach Jose Peseiro arrived to camp first, followed by his assistants.

Later today, the remaining players are anticipated at camp.

The Super Eagles will play a friendly match against either Guinea or Burkina Faso before the competition.

The players will travel to Abidjan for the 2023 AFCON finals after spending a week in Abu Dhabi.

The following people: Joe Aribo, Frank Onyeka, Bruno Onyemaechi, Chidozie Awaziem, Zaidu Sanusi, Victor Boniface, Bright Onyedika, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Cavin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, and Ahmed Musa.
