AFCON 2023 highest goalscorers [Top 13]

Here are the top scorers in the tournament thus far, ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal matches.

With five goals, Emilio Nsue of Equatorial Guinea now leads the 2023 AFCON in scoring.

With four goals each, Mostafa Mohamed of Egypt and Gelson Dala of Angola trail behind Nsue.

Remember that Tuesday night marked the conclusion of the AFCON Round of 16 stage matches.

The final eight teams are Angola, Nigeria, Guinea, Congo DR, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, and South Africa.

AFCON 2023 top scorers thus far:

Five goals – Equatorial Guinea’s Emilio Nsue.

Four goals – Egypt’s Mostafa Mohamed and Angola’s Gelson Dala.

Three goals – Algeria’s Baghdad Bounedjah, Burkina Faso’s Bertrand Traoré, Mali’s Sinayoko and Angola’s Mabululu Paciência.

Two goals – Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman, Ghana’s Jordan Ayew, Senegal’s Lamine Camara, Cape Verde’s Mendes da Graça, Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus and South Africa’s Themba Zwane.
