AFCON: Cameroon coach, Davis Pagou names most cohesive team in tournament

Cameroon’s head coach, David Pagou, has dubbed South Africa the most cohesive team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cameroon.

Pagou commended the Bafana Bafana for their strength and long-standing collaboration during a pre-match press conference before of their play on Sunday night.

“We are facing a very strong South African team that we know very well,” Pagou said.

“They’ve reached a high level of collective play and have spent long time developing together.

“To me, they’re the most cohesive team in this competition.”

The match between Cameroon and South Africa is slated to begin at 8 p.m. Nigerian time.
