AFCON: Peseiro reveals players he will pick for Nigeria vs Guinea-Bissau clash

The Super Eagles’ head coach, Jose Peseiro, has stated that when they play Guinea-Bissau in their last 2023 Africa Cup of Nations group match, the crowd will witness “our first eleven.”

Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over the host Ivory Coast and their 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea have almost guaranteed them a spot in the Round of 16.

However, before the game on Monday, Peseiro will not take anything for granted.

On Sunday, he told reporters, “No two matches are the same.” We’re going to show you our first eleven tomorrow; anyone can participate.

“I’ll choose the players and the best organization that works best for everybody,” he said.

But midfielder Alhassan Yusuf is out of the game, according to Peseiro.
