AFCON: Peseiro tipped to make two changes against Guinea-Bissau

For Monday’s Group A match against Guinea-Bissau, Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro is anticipated to make two changes to his starting lineup.

Peseiro will return to a 4-3-3 shape for the game, according to a trustworthy camp source.

Calvin Bassey, a defender for Fulham, is anticipated to come off the bench following his AFCON debut against the hosts, Cote d’Ivoire.

Joe Aribo, his colleague at Fulham, will play in the middle of the pitch alongside Alex Iwobi and Frank Onyeka.

Samuel Chukwueze is predicted to sit on the bench, leaving Kelechi Iheanacho, who has impressed in training, in the running for a starting position.

Guinea-Bissau and the Super Eagles will play at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.

The game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Nigerian time.
