After things fell apart, a woman in a complicated relationship with a married guy is now dealing with serious difficulties.
After the man’s wife, who had previously helped her, relocated to Canada, things took a bad turn and she was left without money.
The woman described how she started dating a married man whose wife was having reproductive problems in a distressing post on Facebook.
The woman claimed that the man was not overly affluent, but he was reasonably well-off enough to support a decent lifestyle.
As their connection developed, the man begged her to become pregnant for him.
“He loved me and took care of me. I ended up getting pregnant, and when his wife found out, she reacted in a way I didn’t expect,” the woman said.
The wife, an accountant, handled the circumstance with poise and maturity.
She even made a commitment to look after her and the baby when she spoke to her like a mature woman.
“She was incredibly kind and supportive, visiting me in the hospital when I delivered. She truly spoiled me during that time,” the woman recounted.
Despite the unusual circumstances, the wife even allowed the woman to stay in her house, allowing her to live there amicably.
But three years ago, the wife made the decision to move to Canada, which left her with a number of emotional and financial difficulties.
When the man’s wife sold all they owned without telling her husband, she came to understand that she was the foundation of their home.
Her partner’s business failed because his wife was in charge, and he had a large loan for a car that was repossessed.
“Now he has left me with two kids, and she doesn’t even answer my calls anymore,” the woman said, visibly distraught.
The wife’s condition deteriorated when she moved to Canada, remarried, and gave birth to triplets with her new, foreign-born husband.
The wife has severed all contact with the woman, even though she had previously promised to help her and her kids.
Currently living in poverty, the woman is raising her two children, whom she believes were forced into her.
“I’m thinking of suing her. Is there any law in Kenya that would allow me to make her take care of us, as she had promised?” She enquired.
