After she boldly killed a snake by herself, a girlfriend shocked her boyfriend by telling him that her bride price had gone up.

She sent him a picture of herself holding the dead snake to demonstrate her accomplishment.

The boyfriend disclosed this in a post on X, the former name for Twitter.

He said the message, which described how his fiancée killed the snake on her own, was delivered on Tuesday.

She joked that her wedding price had increased because of her bravery and included a picture of herself with the snake with the message.

The boyfriend responded to her audacity by saying he was taken aback and that he didn’t even have the guts to kill a cockroach.

He wrote, “Me, I can’t even kill a flying cockroach, but she’s made me proud.”
