Amazon announces beneficiaries of Future Engineer Scholarship Program

Amazon has announced its 2025 cohort of 400 Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship recipients, offering up to $16 million in college tuition support. The awards will provide each recipient with up to $40,000 over four years to pursue computer science and engineering-related degrees at an American college of their choice.

This year’s cohort includes high school seniors from 39 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and American Samoa. The program has awarded 1,650 scholarships and internships totaling $66 million since 2019 for students from underserved and underrepresented communities across the United States

The Amazon Future Engineer programme aims to support students from diverse backgrounds in pursuing careers in computer science and engineering. By providing financial support and resources, Amazon hopes to increase diversity in the tech industry and empower the next generation of innovators.

The scholarship programme is part of Amazon’s broader efforts to promote education and career development in STEM fields. Through initiatives like Amazon Future Engineer, the company is working to create opportunities for students from underrepresented communities to succeed in tech and beyond
