After a short break, actress and model Annie Idibia—now known as Annie Macaulay—has returned to social media.
Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, her estranged spouse and renowned singer, married Edo State politician Hon. Natasha Osawaru in a traditional ceremony at the same time as Annie’s return.
As the couple observed the customs of the Idoma people, a video that captured the highlights of the ceremony went viral on social media.
A video showed Natasha being led into a group of 2Baba’s relatives while wearing a headscarf that partially covered her face and a traditional Idoma shawl around her waist.
Traditional dancers dressed in traditional Idoma garb surrounded the Edo politician, singing and dancing in jubilation.
2Baba also made a colorful arrival, spraying cash on the dancers as part of the ceremonies.
The actress posted a scene from what seemed like a video shoot on her Instagram story.
She also inserted a line from Ayra Starr’s song Rush that read, “If them they run them no fit catch up. I no dey form say I too righteous. No come dey form say you too like us. Me no getty time for the hate and the bad energy,” as the background song.
