Members of the National Working Committee, NWC, and others have been urged by Ali Dalori, the acting national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to prevent the resignation of Abdullahi Ganduje, the party’s immediate past national chairman, from causing division within the organization.

In the wake of Ganduje’s departure, he urged them to be careful with their words and deeds.

Dalori disclosed that in the coming days, he will provide them with a workable plan to direct the NWC in the meanwhile.

“To all party members and stakeholders, I urge us to stay united. Political transitions often create uncertainty, but we must not allow it to breed disunity.

“We must avoid actions and words that divide us and focus on what binds us — our shared belief in the promise of Nigeria and the future of the APC.

“It will cover key areas such as party discipline, reconciliation, communication, member mobilisation, and broader stakeholder engagement,” he said.

The acting national chairman added that he took up his new role in accordance with President Bola Tinubu’s directive and the party’s constitution.

He thanked Ganduje for his efforts to the APC’s advancement and wished him a quick recovery.
