The inauguration of the Anambra State Gubernatorial National Campaign Council, which was supposed to take place on Thursday (today), has been postponed by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Felix Morka, the party’s national publicity secretary, revealed this in a statement on Thursday.

According to the announcement, an updated date will be revealed soon.

It expressed sorrow for any inconvenience the modification may have caused and reassured all parties involved of the party’s steadfast dedication to making sure Anambra state has a victorious governorship election on November 8, 2025.

“The All Progressives Congress, APC, wishes to inform its members, stakeholders and the general public that the inauguration of the National Campaign Council for the 2025 Anambra State Governorship election scheduled to be held today, Thursday 11th September, 2025 at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, has been postponed,” the statement said.
