Argentina Makes Unusual FIFA Request Ahead of Crunch England Clash

Argentina have reportedly submitted a special request to FIFA regarding their kit ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final against England.

The reigning world champions secured their place in the last four after defeating Switzerland 3-1.

The Albiceleste will now face the Three Lions, who advanced after recording a 2-1 victory over Norway in the quarter-finals.

According to journalist Gaston Edul, Argentina have informed FIFA of their preference to wear their all-blue kit instead of their traditional blue-and-white striped jersey.

The South American side have featured in their iconic blue-and-white striped kit in all but one of their six matches at the tournament.

The only time Argentina wore a different strip was during their group-stage encounter against Jordan.
