The All Progressives Congress Screening Committee for governors seeking re-election in 2027 has cleared 11 governors.

The screening exercise is taking place ahead of the party’s primary elections scheduled for Thursday, May 21.

The committee, chaired by the party’s National Chairman, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, alongside the National Secretary, Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, is expected to continue the exercise on Saturday.

Here is the full list of governors screened so far:

1. Gov. Abba Yusuf – Kano State
2. Gov. Inuwa Yahaya – Gombe State
3. Gov. Nasir Idris – Kebbi State
4. Gov. Caleb Muftwang – Plateau State
5. Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia – Benue State
6. Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru – Ebonyi State
7. Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori – Delta State
8. Gov. Umar Bago – Niger State
9. Gov. Dauda Lawal – Zamfara State
10. Sen. Bassey Otu – Cross River State
11. Gov. Ahmed Aliyu – Sokoto State
