Fresh political moves as NDC unveils big date in Abuja

The Nigerian Democratic Congress on Friday announced the date for its inaugural national convention scheduled to hold in Abuja.

The announcement was made by the party’s National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, through the party’s X handle.

According to the statement, the NDC invited delegates to participate in the convention, which is slated for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Los Angeles Event Centre, Ahmadu Bello Way, FCT Abuja, by 10 a.m.

“The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) welcomes all delegates to its inaugural national convention holding on Saturday, 9th May 2026, at Los Angeles Event Centre, Ahmadu Bello Way, FCT Abuja, by 10 a.m.,” the statement read.
