BREAKING: PDP governor declares Tibubu will do 8 years in Aso Rock

According to Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, President Bola Tinubu will continue to hold office until 2031.

According to the governor of the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, Tinubu has the support of Nigerians to hold onto power until 2031.

Eno made this announcement on Tuesday at the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project’s Akwa Ibom segment flag-off.

Tinubu, according to the governor, is a president who loves people.

He said: “Let me end by assuring that our President (Tinubu), our people-loving President, who will complete eight years because we are going to stand by him.

“My leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not allow Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway to turn to another East-West Road. He is a father and a promise keeper.”

The governor asked God to provide Tinubu good health so he could finish the projects he had begun.

The governor went on to say he will keep working with Tinubu’s government.

This comes after PDP chieftain Dele Momodu stated that the Governors Forum of the party might be assisting Tinubu in the run-up to the 2027 presidential election.

According to Momodu, the PDP Governors Forum’s rejection of the opposition coalition led by Atiku Abubakar, the party’s previous presidential nominee, was a sign that they might be working for Tinubu.

Recall that Atiku just declared the formation of an opposition coalition.

However, following its meeting in the capital of Oyo State, Ibadan, the PDP Governors Forum declared that it would not be joining the coalition.
