Nigeria will host the 2026 Confederation of African Football Awards Ceremony, ZINGTIE reports.
The West African nation will also stage the 48th CAF Ordinary General Assembly.
The CAF General Assembly is scheduled to hold in October this year, while the CAF Awards ceremony is slated for December.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced that the country would host the two events during a meeting with CAF President, Patrice Motsepe, at the ongoing Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi.
Morocco hosted the last three editions of the CAF Awards.
CAF’s 54 Member Associations, representatives from the six zonal unions, and senior football officials from across the continent are expected to participate in the ordinary congress.
