EPL: Alexander Isak to join best club between Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd

Alexander Isak, a striker for Newcastle United, has been informed by former Chelsea player Pat Nevin which of Arsenal, Manchester United, and the Blues would be the best club for him to join.

A move away from Newcastle has been suggested for Isak during the current January transfer window.

In recent weeks, the Swedish international has been linked to teams like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

The 25-year-old, in Nevin’s opinion, would be better off joining the Gunners than any other team.

He said it would be frightening to see Isak play alongside players like Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz at Arsenal.

“I would not be surprised if Chelsea made a huge bid for Alexander Isak this January if they get any sort of hint that he is available,” Nevin told Grosvenor Sport.

“Chelsea would love him. Having said that, I think he would be the best possible fit for Arsenal and if I was him I would be looking at that.

“Style-wise and technique-wise, can you imagine him playing in front of Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard, it would be scary.

“Manchester United might also be involved if they hear that he is available, but I can’t imagine how Eddie Howe would feel about letting him go.”

With 14 goals in his previous 15 games for Newcastle, Isak has helped Eddie Howe’s team climb to fifth place in the Premier League standings.
