On Wednesday, Senator Gabriel Suswam formally told PDP elders that the party had decided to use the ADC as a platform in order to unseat the nation’s ruling APC.
The National Coalition Movement’s Benue State Steering Committee Chairman, Terngu Tsegba, hosted the meeting at his home in Makurdi.
The meeting, which was held in advance of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, being formally introduced to the Benue people, was attended by elders from the state’s 23 local government districts.
According to Senator Suswam, the ADC will be offered to the locals for ownership in the same manner as the PDP was.
The former governor filed a lawsuit to exercise prudence and permit people to express themselves without becoming overpowering.
Ahead of 2027, he suggested that the PDP’s winning mentality be fostered and capitalized upon, emphasizing that joining the ADC is a decision made voluntarily and not under duress.
