On Wednesday evening, the FA Cup quarterfinal draw took place.
If Liverpool defeats Southampton in the fifth round on Wednesday, they might face their bitter rivals Manchester United for a spot in the semifinals.
To set up the match, United would also need to defeat Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Leicester City will make the trip to play the victor of the Leeds and Chelsea match.
Coventry’s away games will be against Brighton or Wolves.
Newcastle and holders Manchester City were the only confirmed draw.
The four quarterfinal matches will take place over the course of the March 16–17 weekend.
