Boss Mustapha, the former secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), has denied the rumor that he switched from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The clarification was provided by Mustapha in a statement on Sunday.

He emphasized that he has not had any conversations with opposition lawmakers or their coalition partners and called the reports “fake news.”

“My attention has been drawn to a news story in circulation associating me with the opposition alliance and their choice of the ADC as their political party.

“I want the general public to know that this is fake news. I am not in any opposition alliance, and I am not in any discussion with those who are involved,” he said.

He claimed to be a key founding father of the APC and stated that he was unable to leave the party he had assisted in creating.

He says that although the APC faces difficulties like any other political organization, working from inside is preferable to switching to a different platform.

As a result, he urged everyone to ignore any rumors that would indicate differently.

According to ZINGTIE, Mustapha was SGF from 2017 until 2023.
