Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, has ordered that his body be interred within four weeks of his passing.

Additionally, Fayose put down specific guidelines for his funeral, including a request that no one be allowed to see him once he is buried.

He declared that the Ekiti State Government should be in charge of both his body and his funeral preparations.

Fayose, who is 65 today, stated in a six-minute video posted on YouTube by City Edge TV on Saturday, “Remember me for anything. And when I die, let me say this. Death is inevitable. My body belongs to the Ekiti State Government. I’m delivering a letter to the governor.”

He added that the state government should be in charge of his remains no matter when he passes away.

“Let us say in another 20, 30 years, 15 years, whatever time, for the glory of God. The Ekiti state government takes over my body, and I must be buried within four weeks. Because the state might not be ready within two, three days, we allow them four weeks,” he added.

At the time of his passing, Fayose also stated that his children should follow all government orders and wear their own clothing.
