Super Falcons forward Rinsola Babajide has expressed anticipation for a challenging encounter against Cameroon.
The Nigerian women’s national team, coached by Justine Madugu, is set to face the Indomitable Lionesses in a friendly match at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta today (Tuesday).
In their previous meeting during the 2024 Olympic qualifiers, Nigeria secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Cameroon, with Esther Okoronkwo netting the decisive goal.
Babajide, however, expects a tough contest once again, noting that Jean Baptiste Bisseck’s team is likely to put up strong resistance against the Super Falcons.
“Cameroon is our biggest rival, it’s going to be fire,” Babajide said.
“I will contribute the best I can to the team to help us win. We are staying focused as we don’t want any distractions.”
