Former Senator Shehu Sani has expressed sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Aminu Dantata, calling it a significant loss for the nation.

Dantata, a renowned Nigerian businessman and humanitarian, has passed away.

His passing was confirmed by his Personal Private Secretary, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaid, who shared the news on Saturday morning.

In a message posted on his X account, Shehu Sani praised Dantata’s legacy, describing him as a man of integrity and deep generosity whose influence reached across generations and touched countless lives.

He said: “The news of the passing away of Alhaji Aminu Dantata is a great loss to the country. He was a man of upright values and boundless compassion who touched the lives of millions of people spanning generations.

“Not everyone is so blessed with a combination of purposeful longevity, generous spirit and wealth of honour. He was an accomplished man who lived an exemplary life. May his soul rest in Aljanna firdausi, Amin.”
