GTBank begin Closing of Branches across Nigeria; Reasons revealed

Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd. has announced that all its branches across Nigeria will close earlier than usual on Monday, June 30, to facilitate it’s scheduled half-year audit activities. In a customer email sent on Saturday, the bank informed clients of the temporary change in operation hours.

“Please be informed that our branches nationwide will close to customers early on Monday, June 30, 2025, for our half-year audit,” the bank stated. The closure times vary by location, with upcountry branches closing at 2:00 p.m. and Lagos branches closing at 3:00 p.m.

The bank advised customers to utilize its digital banking channels for transactions during the period of early closure. “Kindly note the early closure time below: Upcountry Branches – 2.00 p.m.; Lagos Branches – 3.00 p.m.,” GTBank specified.

Normal branch operations are expected to resume at regular business hours on Tuesday, July 1. The bank expressed appreciation to customers for their understanding and continued patronage during the audit period
