I am not dumping PDP for APC – Zamfara Gov, Lawal counters reports

Dauda Lawal, the governor of Zamfara State, has denied rumors that he intends to switch from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor reiterated his dedication to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in a post uploaded on his verified Facebook and X pages. He described himself as a legitimate member of the party.

“I am Dauda Lawal, a bona fide member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Disregard the fake news from detractors determined to distract us from the RESCUE MISSION we have embarked on,” he said.

He emphasized that he is still focused on carrying out the mandate that the people of Zamfara State have given him, not on political diversions.

The answer follows a lot of rumors that the governor was thinking about joining the APC.

According to ZINGTIE, Zamfara is situated in Nigeria’s northwest.
