Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, a renowned disc jockey and the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has shared her reflection on recognizing her privilege.

The music star revealed that she hadn’t always realized the extent of her wealthy background. She now understands that what seemed normal to her is, for many others, a dream they wish for.

On her X handle, Cuppy wrote, “Growing up, I didn’t fully realise just how privileged I was. I never had to worry about anything.

“Thank God I see it now. What felt normal to me is something someone else is praying for. Gratitude changes everything.”
