During a 5:30– 6:30 minute interview with a Symfoni correspondent, a suspected kidnapper and murderer named David also disclosed how he and his accomplice, Sunday, planned and carried out the kidnapping and murder of his female employer, who owned the school where he was employed as a security guard.

Sunday had previously asked him to find affluent parents whose kids would be targeted, David recalled, promising to offer a “solution” by kidnapping and killing the victims and then demanding ransom.

Sunday apparently claimed that it was required since they had nowhere to hold the hostages, despite David’s claims that he asked him about the concept of killing the victims.

David claimed it was his first time taking part in such an act and said he initially opposed the murderous plan but was eventually lured into the crime by Sunday.

He claims that Sunday borrowed a vehicle from a man known as “Aboki” and used it to get rid of the remains of the victims. David explained that Sunday told him to entice the woman out of her classroom while he hid in the restroom, and that they killed the child with a rope.

After she showed up, Sunday allegedly choked her from behind until she passed out. David went on to say that Sunday later instructed him to bring the infant, and despite his initial resistance, Sunday argued that it was essential to justify the ransom demand.

David apologized and recalled that the woman had been generous to him, giving him ₦300 to purchase food on the day of her murder and frequently providing him with money for meals before the tragedy.

When asked what he wanted the cops to do for him, he responded, “Sir, what I want the police to do to…this thing that I did, I am regretting it with the whole of my life.“

“I know they will kill me, but parents should tell their children to do away with bad friends and bad people. I’m begging for forgiveness from the people I killed, and the people that are alive should also help me beg for forgiveness. My friend stabbed me and then ran away.“
