“I’m coming in as me” – Actress Peggy Ovire finally speaks amid divorce rumours

Famous Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has finally responded amid reports of a divorce from her husband, actor Frederick Leonard.

Ovire posted a video of herself getting ready for a wedding ceremony on Saturday, according to ZINGTIE, but noticeably sans her wedding band.

She captioned the video, “Wedding guest. Transition 101.”

One user, @HoldMart, commented on the video by asking, “Where is the ring??” regarding her marriage.

The development increased rumors that the pair was having a crisis.

But in response to differing views regarding her purported divorce, Ovire wrote on Wednesday night’s Instagram post: “No matter what room I step in, I’m coming in as ME.”

Recall that Ovire posted a lone Christmas picture in pajamas in 2024, sparking rumors of a crisis between the Nollywood couple.
