Manchester United legend Roy Keane has singled out two players he believes are ‘not good enough’ for the club following their 0-0 draw with Manchester City on Sunday.

In a match where neither team found the net at Old Trafford, both sides walked away with a point.

Keane voiced his concerns over Manchester United’s lack of progress after the game.

The Irishman pointed to the club’s current forward options, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, stating that they were ‘not good enough’ for a club of Manchester United’s stature.

“Manchester United can still be more of a goal threat,” Keane said on Sky Sports.

“The couple of strikers [Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee] –United have at the club are not good enough for United, but there are other players on the team.

“There are wide players, defenders can score goals, there are set pieces. The goal they have away at [Nottingham] Forest the other day, you have an opposition player running 70 or 80 yards.”

Hojlund and Zirkzee have had disappointing seasons at Manchester United so far.

Together, the two have managed just six goals in the Premier League this season.
