The vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has declared that the party remains firmly committed to securing victory in the 2027 general elections.
Kwankwaso made the statement on Tuesday while updating the party’s National Leader, Seriake Dickson, during a meeting, the details of which were later shared in a post on his verified X account.
According to him, Dickson confirmed that his nomination as the party’s vice-presidential candidate had been successfully submitted.
He also disclosed that his name has officially been uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal as the running mate to the NDC presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
“We remain steadfast, united, and fully focused on the mission ahead.
“I was delighted to welcome my brother and National Leader of our great party, the NDC, His Excellency Henry Seriake Dickson, to my residence in Abuja.
“I took the opportunity to brief him on the highly productive engagements and consultations I have undertaken across the North West states, which have yielded very encouraging results,” he said.
