ZINGTIE reports that Ademola Lookman is keen to make his first appearance for Spanish club Atletico Madrid.

After his transfer from Atalanta, a Serie A club, Lookman practiced with his new teammates for the first time on Tuesday.

Atletico Madrid are preparing for the Copa del Rey quarter-final showdown against Real Betis on Thursday night.

Lookman is anticipated to debut for Diego Simeone’s team in the match.

The Nigeria international expressed his anticipation of playing in the match.

“I trained with the whole team and it’s been fantastic, it’s good to get to know my teammates. If they give me the opportunity, I’ll be ready,” Lookman was quoted by eldesmarque.com.
