Experienced tactician Abdu Maikaba is set to be appointed as the new head coach of the Flying Eagles, ZINGTIE reports.
Maikaba, regarded as one of Nigeria’s respected indigenous coaches, will replace Aliyu Zubairu.
Zubairu, now in charge of Egypt’s second division side Telecom SC, led the Flying Eagles to the second round of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile last year.
Maikaba previously served as an assistant coach to Paul Aigbogun with the Flying Eagles.
He most recently worked as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side Wikki Tourists.
