Portugal head coach, Jorge Jesus, has disclosed that Cristiano Ronaldo will be invited for the country’s next international break.

Jesus made the statement while speaking to journalists following Portugal’s 2-1 victory over Norway in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday.

According to the manager, Ronaldo will have the final say on whether he wants to return to international duty after leaving the team’s camp last week.

“Cristiano Ronaldo will be called up for the next international break, if he wants to return.

“It’s his decision. I am ready to call him if he will play with Al Nassr,” he said.

Ronaldo was reportedly furious after Jesus kept him on the bench for the entire 90 minutes during Portugal’s 2-1 victory over Croatia.

Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has since assumed the captain’s armband, while Rafael Leao has taken over the No. 7 shirt.
