In Ibadan, Oyo State, a private jet carrying a number of prominent individuals, VIPs, made an emergency landing.

According to Channels Television, firefighters and rescue personnel from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, or FAAN, were on the scene right away.

According to ZINGTIE, the same spot had a comparable incidence happen two months prior.

There were reportedly ten or so people on board the private jet, most of whom were VIPs.

The aircraft made a crash landing at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan on Friday morning, according to a source who spoke with Channels.

The aircraft, bearing the registration number N580KR, veered into the adjacent shrubbery instead of the runway.

“It was a private plane from Abuja. It landed safely but overshot the runway. There was no casualty,” a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, Carol Adekotujo, told Channels.
