Cyriel Dessers has expressed his frustration after Rangers suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to St Mirren.
Despite dominating the match in the Scottish Premiership, Rangers were unable to convert their chances, with Mikael Mandron and Toyosi Olusanya scoring for St Mirren in the second half.
Dessers admitted the loss was hard to swallow, especially because it came on home turf.
“It was a really difficult afternoon. It was a tough loss, especially as it was at home,” Dessers told the club’s official website.
“That is not what you want to show here, especially after our last home game. We wanted to bounce back and give the fans something, but we obviously didn’t.”
Following the defeat, Rangers now find themselves 13 points behind their rivals, Celtic.
Philippe Clement’s side will look to bounce back when they face Kilmarnock in their next league fixture at Rugby Park.
