Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his joy after playing a key role in Celtic FC’s qualification for the final of the Scottish Cup.
The Nigeria international came off the bench to score twice during extra time as Celtic defeated St Mirren 6-2.
Iheanacho has now recorded six goals across all competitions for the Hoops this season.
Celtic had taken the lead on two occasions, but St Mirren responded to force the match into extra time.
However, Iheanacho proved decisive for Celtic, delivering a standout performance in the commanding victory.
“I can’t really describe how I feel at the moment. I’m really happy. Obviously, there was a little bit of panic in the second half when they got the goals,” the 29-year-old told Celtic TV.
Celtic are set to face Dunfermline Athletic in the final scheduled for Saturday, 23 May.
