Shehu Sani, a former senator of Kaduna Central, states that in the past two years, schools and places of worship throughout the state have been safeguarded.
On Thursday, Sani made this remark in a statement shared on his verified X account.
His arrival follows the recent abduction of more than 100 worshippers from three churches in Kaduna State.
The police initially dismissed the report but later reversed their stance and confirmed the abduction.
Reacting, the former lawmaker said, “I’m confident that with the efforts put in place by the security agencies, Kaduna State Government and the communities, freedom for the Kaduna kidnapped victims would be secured.
“Despite this unfortunate incident, thousands of schools, worship centres and communities across the state have been well protected in the last two years.”
