Some people need to ‘kpai’ before Nigeria becomes great again – El-rufai’s son Bashir

According to Bashir El-Rufai, the son of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, some specific individuals must perish for Nigeria to once again be great.

The comment was made by Bashir in a recent post on X, which was once Twitter.

He wrote, “Nigeria can become great again. Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on context) a few certain people have to kpai to achieve this dream.”

However, several Nigerians flooded the comment area to remind Bashir that his father might be among those who must perish for the nation to regain its glory, therefore the post did not go down well.

@legendchild2019 wrote, “Your father must be among those that will kpai.”

According to ZINGTIE, prior to the 2027 elections, Bashir’s father was one of the opposition leaders that sided against President Bola Tinubu.

If El-Rufai wins the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) presidential ticket, which opposition leaders recently endorsed, there are rumors that he would succeed Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State.
