Lere Olayinka, who serves as the media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has claimed that human rights advocate Omoyele Sowore owns a property in the United States reportedly worth $552,000 (approximately N885 million).

Olayinka shared the allegation in a post published on his verified X account on Friday.

He further asserted that Sowore, the founder of Sahara Reporters, is the sole owner of the African Action Congress (AAC), the political platform on which he ran for president during the 2023 general election.

“Sowore is the Chairman of AAC political party. He is Presidential Candidate of AAC. He is Financial Secretary of AAC. In fact, he is Sole Proprietor of ACC.

“He owns mansion worth $552,000.00 (about N885m) in the US. Na CASHTIVIST Sowore be that. Reason his party members suspended him for CORRUPTION,” he claimed.
