Samuel Anyanwu’s return to the position of National Secretary caused consternation at the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) national secretariat on Friday.

ZINGTIE saw a viral video on Friday that showed his return to the PDP national secretariat.

With his followers by his side, Anyanwu was shown in the film expressing gratitude to God and PDP leaders for the Supreme Court triumph.

“I thank my leaders and PDP faithful across the country who stood by the truth,” he said.

This occurs in the midst of divergent opinions about Friday’s Supreme Court ruling about who should hold the seat.

According to a Friday ZINGTIE report, the Supreme Court overturned the Court of Appeal and Federal High Court rulings that dismissed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the PDP’s national secretary.

In a ruling delivered by Justice Jamilu Tukur, the supreme court invalidated decisions made by lower courts in October and December of last year.

However, PDP National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba declared in a statement minutes after the Supreme Court’s decision that the court had actually affirmed Samuel Udeh-Okoye as the party’s national secretary.

The country’s biggest opposition party is in even more disorder as a result of the confusion.
