Tems, American producer ATL Jacob fight dirty

ATL Jacob, an American musical producer, and Temilade Openiyi, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer also known as Tems, are at war on social media.

ATL Jacob stated in a recent podcast that Tems was first adamant about removing her sample from Future’s song “Wait For U,” which featured her and Drake. This is when the conflict began.

The song’s producer, ATL Jacob, claimed that Future needed to speak with Drake in order to exploit his connection to Tems to gain her approval for the sample.

Social media users reacted negatively to his assertion, with Tems and her manager disputing it as well.

Reacting to the backlash via X, ATL Jacob wrote: “All this negativity coming to me … I got a $100,000 wire transfer for Tems and her team to find me 1 time I spoke negatively about her.”

Tems responded by offering the American producer $1 million in exchange for his quitting “telling lies.”

She wrote, “It’s not about saying anything negative. Stop telling lies. I’ll give you 1 million.”
