“The real queen” – Mercy Johnson, praises Annie Macaulay amid 2baba’s marital drama

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay appears not to be paying attention to her ex-husband, 2Baba’s marital troubles.

The former wife of the musician, via her Instagram profile, published images of herself with their two daughters, Isabella and Olivia, and her mother, in Durban.

She praised her mother as the greatest grandma ever and raved about her daughters in her caption, calling them her best friends. Annie observed that although her daughters believed they were on vacation, she was focused on her job.

Refreshing your memory, in January, the music icon shocked many when he announced his separation from wife of over a decade, Annie Idibia, via his Instagram page.

While confirming his relationship with her, he said he loves Natasha and wants to marry her. 2baba made it known that she had nothing to do with the breakdown of his marriage to Annie and claimed that he and Annie have an understanding.

On July 25th 2025, the music icon had traditionally wedded Natasha, in a low-key ceremony attended by close family members, including the singer’s parents.
