Manchester United have reportedly placed young striker Chido Obi-Martin on the list of players available for a loan move during the current summer transfer window.
The teenage forward is said to have received a mixed evaluation following his pre-season performances, with the club favouring a move to a team in continental Europe rather than one in England’s lower divisions.
The Red Devils’ manager, Michael Carrick, along with his coaching staff, reportedly believes the youngster still needs further development before coping with the demands of Premier League football.
In addition, Chido Obi currently trails attacking options such as Benjamin Šeško, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in Manchester United’s senior squad hierarchy.
The forward featured for United in pre-season, coming off the bench to play 30 minutes in the club’s 5-0 victory over Rosenborg, but was left out of the travelling squad for the recent win against Atletico Madrid.
