Napoli have reportedly given Galatasaray a firm deadline of next Monday to finalize the transfer paperwork for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
As reported by Football Italia, both clubs have reached an agreement on key elements of the deal, including clauses preventing a return to Serie A and terms related to sell-on percentages.
Negotiations between Napoli and the Turkish champions have been ongoing throughout the summer, as Galatasaray push to secure Osimhen on a permanent deal following his impressive loan spell.
The Super Eagles forward enjoyed a prolific season in Istanbul, scoring 37 goals and registering eight assists across 41 matches.
Despite having multiple bids turned down—at least four, according to reports—Galatasaray now appear to be on the verge of sealing the move.
Napoli, however, are unwilling to let talks drag on indefinitely. The club has set a deadline for early next week, believing that this timeframe is sufficient for Galatasaray to complete the necessary documentation.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Turkish side will pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be settled through instalments by June 2026.
