President Donald Trump has encouraged tech billionaire Elon Musk to take a more assertive approach in his work.

Musk, who leads Trump’s newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), was commended by the former president, although Trump expressed a desire for him to push further in his efforts.

The Department of Government Efficiency was created through an Executive Order signed by Trump during his inauguration. The department’s mission is to modernize federal technology and software in order to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the government.

In a post on his Truth Social platform on Saturday, Trump praised Musk for his performance but emphasized the need for him to become more proactive.

Trump said, “Elon is doing a great job, but I would like TO see him get more aggressive. Remember, we have a country to save, but ultimately, to make greater than ever before. MAGA!”
