US election: Donald Trump sends strong message to Elon Musk

Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for president of the United States in 2024, has hailed tech tycoon and devoted follower Elon Musk as a “super genius.”

When Hurricane Helene hit the southeastern United States in October, Musk’s Starlink satellite service was instrumental in saving “a lot of lives,” Trump told his fans on Wednesday.

“I told Elon they need it badly in North Carolina. Can you get it? He had that there so fast, it was incredible. It saved a lot of lives. They saved a lot of lives,” Trump stated.

In addition, he called Musk “a character, he’s a special guy, he’s a super genius. We have to protect our geniuses; we don’t have that many of them.”

Musk has backed Trump’s campaign vigorously, even making a monetary donation to help the former president return to the White House.
